“ Important conversations with the best minds in education and leadership.”

The podcast started way back in 2020 when I sent an email to Richard Gerver. His work has had a huge impact on me and I wanted to chat with him about how I could apply it in my classroom. To be honest, I didn't expect a reply. To my delight, he agreed to chat with me and we decided to record the first episode.

Here are a selection of some of the episodes.

Stephen Heppell: Contemporary learning spaces, online education and why we must keep eyes on the horizon and feet on the ground.

Dr Nathaniel Swain: Musical theatre and why his mum was right all along.

Dr. Catherine Attard: Maths anxiety, misconceptions about this beautiful subject and student engagement

James Nottingham: The Learning Pit, cognitive conflict and our primary role as educators.

Brendan Lee: Starting with the evidence, building a culture of trust and the complexities of school improvement.

Dr Adam Fraser: How to thrive in a world of impossible demands, being a dad and “showing up” for those that matter most.

Eddie Woo: Australia’s favourite (and unlikely) maths teacher and why maths is for everyone.

Amy Green: Teacher wellbeing, creating margin and how to protect what matters most.
